All Ears Cambodia (AEC) is a local medical aid organization working with newborns to the elderly – helping them to hear. It focuses on the weakest and hardest hit. Target groups include children with HIV, street children and former child labourers, women and girls living in precarious situations, physically disabled people and ones with cerebral impairments, children with cranio-facial abnormalities, the elderly, and families of lowest income, internally displaced communities and victims of landmines or leprosy. AEC currently has 5 clinics across the country and works in partnership with over 65 aid organizations and 6 public hospitals. Outreach services cover 9 provinces. Services provided include primary ear health care, diagnostic audiology (hearing tests), aural rehabilitation (hearing aids), and primary ear and hearing health education focused on children. Annual patient caseload is over 27,000. It has also established a School of Audiology and Primary Ear Health Care to address the paucity of professionals in this field in Cambodia. All Ears Cambodia is federated with the UK-registered charity All Ears International (Registration number: 1142782).
