We continue to help those who are in dire need and currently we are distributing almost one tonne of food per week in Ely and the surrounding towns and villages in which we work. We are also now able to assist a growing number of clients who are experiencing fuel poverty; having to choose between heating or eating is an awful situation to be in.
Many clients come to us with multiple problems and whilst we do not have all the answers an important part of our role is, where appropriate, to point them towards specialist agencies where trained professionals can help them to resolve issues that have contributed to their present situation.
