This innovative project provides fortnightly walks for people with dementia and their carers in a local park followed by coffee and chats. We have recently been developing a series of postcards under the Chance to Chat strand. The postcards depict visual images of things past that may stimulate conversation between people with dementia and their families or carers. We are currently exploring opportunities to develop more culturally appropriate images for people who are from different ethnic backgrounds.
