Yemen is in the grip of the worst humanitarian crisis of our time. Bombs are hammering down on children with no shelter. Parents cannot afford food to feed their families. Schools are destroyed, hospitals are without power, and every day, millions of children face the risk of abuse, exploitation, injury and death. As well as developing psychological wounds from living through three years of brutal war, they are now facing famine as supplies dwindle and basic services continue to shut down.
Save the Children is the largest independent aid agency responding in Yemen. To date they have reached over 4.3 million people including 2.1 million children through their life-saving interventions. With the crisis now in its third year, the organisation is working around the clock to get aid to desperate children and their families.
